About Meghan (she/her)
I believe every individual possesses inherent worth and unique gifts. I strive to highlight these strengths, empowering you to make meaningful changes in your life and achieve your full potential. I bring a wealth of expertise and kindness to my practice and am committed to providing safe and high-quality care. I was drawn to this profession early in life and am grateful to have a career that utilizes my empathy and passion for human connection.
With over 10 years of diverse clinical experience, my registered nursing background spans inpatient cardiovascular medicine, outpatient family medicine, and inpatient psychiatry. As a board-certified PMHNP, I have had the privilege of serving patients in various settings, including inpatient pediatric psychiatry, outpatient adult psychiatry, and emergency/crisis psychiatric care. Before opening my private practice, I worked in community mental health serving patients with serious mental illness and in a mental health urgent care clinic focusing on crisis stabilization.
I am particularly passionate about treating problems rooted in complex trauma, gender-related concerns, difficult interpersonal relationships, anxiety, OCD, mood disorders, and ADHD. I also enjoy tending to the unique needs of those in helping professions (e.g., healthcare providers, teachers, police, medics, and others in public service positions). I accept patients experiencing Bipolar I disorder and schizophrenia on a case-by-case basis as these conditions can require more support than I am able to offer as the sole provider in my practice.
Born and raised in Bellingham, WA, I am a lifelong resident of the beautiful (and sometimes gloomy) Pacific Northwest. In my free time, you can often find me cycling, rock climbing, or traveling to new places. As an inherently curious person with a passion for learning, I am always seeking to expand my knowledge and challenge myself to try new things.
I am excited to be part of your journey toward mental wellness and look forward to supporting you every step of the way. Together, we can navigate life’s challenges and celebrate your victories in mental health.
